Community First Health Plans was established in 1995 by University Health specifically to begin providing health care coverage to the citizens of Bexar and its seven surrounding counties. Community Health Choice

Community Health Choice is a local, nonprofit, managed care organization committed to helping improve the health and well-being for Texas residents. Launched in 1997 by Harris Health System, our region’s public academic healthcare system, we began by offering STAR Medicaid coverage to low-income children. Today, we proudly offer a complete array of affordable and/or no-cost health insurance plans including STAR (Medicaid), CHIP/CHIP Perinatal, Medicare D-SNP and Marketplace(Obamacare], along with one of the largest provider networks in southeast Texas. El Paso health

El Paso Health is a TX licensed health maintenance organization (HMO) established by the El Paso County Hospital District for the purpose of improving access to medical care for STAR, CHIP and CHIP Perinatal recipients in El Paso and Hudspeth Counties. In addition, we manage a number of programs for the El Paso County Hospital District. Parkland Community Health Plan

Parkland Community Health Plan(PCHP) was started in 1999 by Parkland Health as a managed care organization to provide services for Texas STAR Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) recipients, helping members to access programs and services that were designed to meet their specific needs, improve their overall health, and help them feel valued as part of their communities. Our service area covers Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall counties, where members can seek care at more than 9,000 doctors and specialists and over 40 hospitals and urgent care centers. Parkland Community Health Plan (PCHP) provides its services with the intent to promote, achieve and maintain a healthy standard of living across the Dallas service area.
